I need an affordable, easy party theme for a banquet I’m planning, HELP!?

I have to plan a banquet for 13-17 year olds. Its in a ballroom in a hotel for around 200 people.
The budget isnt extravagant and it will be out of town for me, so any ideas have to be easily transportable on a plane in my luggage.
I dont want something like DISCO, or 70′s or whatever.
One of the ideas we already have is black and white, which seemed easy and cute.
We just need a few more options that arent too corny. Remember, there are going to be 17 year olds who might think a pirate theme is lame, they are mature kids.

Disco would be cool. Go to folks in their 50′s and see if they still have those old flares and flared out flowery shirts. And maybe some toupees. Play the music and everyone can dance. Disco Disco Duck!!
