How many luggages can i bring through air travel ?

Im 11 ,12 this July .We’re going to Vietnam this vacation and some other city in Asia .So ill bring one small luggage ,1 travel school bag and one purse …which one can i bring to the airplane and which one i cannot !!!!

That is a good question, Vyvie. Many people do not bother to ask before they travel and then have unpleasant surprises at the airport. As other answerers have noted, your larger piece of luggage will be checked at the airport. That means it will travel in the cargo hold of the airplane, down under where the people sit. But as long as your school bag is not big, you can take it into the passenger cabin (the place where all the people sit) with your purse. But check with the airline to be sure. An airline’s website will always have a section about what you can carry into the cabin with you.

Also, there are some things you cannot take through the security check at the airport before you get to the airplane. For example, if you have anything that is a liquid, like a drink or shampoo, it must be in a bottle that is smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 ml). It will say how much is in it right on the bottle. And any liquids or gels (stuff like Jello that wiggles and isn’t quite wet but isn’t dry, either) must all go into one 1-quart Ziploc-type bag. To learn what you can’t take through security, visit the Transportation Security Administration’s website, www.tsa.gov and look up the “3-1-1 rule.” It is real easy to understand.
